Applied Microbiology

The Division of Applied Microbiology belongs to the Department of Chemistry at Lund University. Work is directed towards applications in industrial microbiology, food microbiology and environmental microbiology. There are some 25 personnel involved in research and roughly half of them are women. The research of the laboratory is mainly focused on biofuels, biocatalysis  and food microbiology.
