The Division of Applied Microbiology belongs to the Department of Chemistry at Lund University. Research and teaching are directed towards microbial physiology and molecular mechanisms. Projects within the group are focused on biocatalysis, food safety & probiotics, forensic & diagnostic PCR, industrial biotechnology, water quality & environmental microbiology.
